Approach

As a HealingWorks® Expert Coach and Licensed Therapist, I offer three distinct pathways to support your healing and growth — couples therapy, individual therapy, and relationship coaching — so you can choose the level of support that meets you where you are.

Through my coaching practice, I guide individuals and couples to break free from survival mode and step into sustainable connection. I help clients untangle cultural expectations, perfectionism, and communication breakdowns — creating space for authenticity, balance, and forward momentum.

Through my therapy practice (available to individuals and couples residing in Colorado), I provide a deeper clinical space for healing — helping clients process the roots of old patterns, relational wounds, and the weight of cultural and intergenerational trauma. As an Arabic-speaking therapist, I am able to support clients who feel most seen and heard in their native language.

Whether you're ready to build new coping strategies or heal what's underneath them, I meet you with cultural fluency, warmth, and a global perspective.

Expertise

As a licensed therapist and relationship coach fluent in Arabic and deeply attuned to immigrant and first-generation experiences, I specialize in supporting:

  • Intercultural couples seeking stronger communication, intimacy, and conflict resolution

  • High-achieving first-generation professionals navigating identity, perfectionism, and self-doubt

  • Immigrant and first-generation leaders balancing family responsibilities with personal freedom and wellbeing

My clients — whether in coaching or therapy — learn to release old patterns, build resilience, and cultivate relationships and lives that honor who they are.

Who I Work Best With

I work best with clients who are ready to invest in lasting transformation. I often partner with:

  • Couples who feel more like roommates than partners and want to reset their connection

  • Professionals who appear successful but feel unseen, unheard, or disconnected internally

  • First-generation individuals who want to honor their cultural identity while writing their own story of success and love

If you're searching for a therapist who understands immigrant experiences, a couples coach for intercultural relationships, or support navigating the unique pressures of being first-generation — you're in the right place.

This Is What's Waiting For You on the Other Side

You were raised to achieve, to represent, to make it — and you have. But no one taught you how to rest, how to ask for help, or how to build relationships that don't require you to shrink yourself. That's what we do here.

My clients walk away with things like:

  • A relationship that finally feels like a partnership — where both people feel heard, valued, and no longer keeping score

  • The ability to set boundaries with family without the crushing guilt that usually follows

  • A clearer sense of who they are outside of their achievements — beyond the degrees, the titles, and the sacrifices

  • Conversations with their partner that don't spiral into old arguments or days of uncomfortable silence

  • Permission to want things for themselves — not just for their family, their culture, or the generation watching them

  • A quieter inner world — less rumination, less second-guessing, more trust in their own voice

This isn't about leaving where you came from behind. It's about finally having enough space to breathe, to choose, and to build something that lasts.

Why HealingWorks®

As the eldest child of Sudanese immigrants, I know firsthand the pressure of being everything for everyone. Through my own healing, I learned to embrace imperfection, reclaim my voice, and trust my intuition. I now channel that journey into helping clients around the world break cycles, rebuild trust, and experience love and leadership rooted in freedom — through culturally responsive therapy and coaching that honors the full complexity of who you are.
